Job Title:  Electrical Mechanic

 

Electrical Mechanics are responsible for general plan check requirements as well as the preventative maintenance and repair of production equipment.

 

 

Employment Requirement:

 

• Completion of secondary school

• Prior experience in a Mask-production manufactory setting preferred.

• Completion of a four-year apprenticeship program or a combination of over four years of work experience in the trade and some college or industry courses in electrical mechanics is typically required for trade certification.

• Trade certification as an electric motor system technician is preferred but not required.

• Electrical motor and equipment repairer-winding trade certification is preferred but not required.

• Red Seal endorsement is also available to qualified electric motor system technicians upon successful completion of the interprovincial Red Seal examination.

• Prior experience in a manufacturing setting preferred.

• Self-driven and hard worker

• A good team player, able to collaborate with and assist other colleagues.

• Good attendance record in keeping with company rules and regulations.

• Communication Language:  English (intermediate level)
